All of you lucky enough to have a scooter to ride don't forget it's Mansfield Roadrunners EMSA night this wed. 28th. I'll hopefully be going up by car, totally gutted. All the insurance claims in the world can't buy back nights riding scooters with your mates.

An update on our downed pilots-nev's legs black and blue from knee to foot (availible to view St.Georges Day outside the nobody from 3oclock) he'll be off work 2-3weeks his scooters been written off, meg had an operation last fri. to put a rod in his leg and is now back at home he'll be out of action for 8weeks doubtful his scooter will see another mile, gutted for both of you lads, hope its not too long before your back on the road, nev came up with the idea of changing the club name to Grantham Daypatients SC haha see you all St.Georges Day cant fookin wait steve

Okay, so I'm from San Diego and will probably be in the UK the first two weeks in Aug - too late for Weston, too early for IOW. Would love to rent a scoot and attend a rally. So .... what is the VFM Run for the Hills? Any other ideas? I have been to the UK many times. Would even attend a rally in Italy, France, you name it. At home we have two moderns: LX150, GTS 250, and a 1980 P200. Would love advice. I'm also going to post on Modern Vespa.

Yea like wise Mark, Editors were great, a good mix of real early stuff to the latest album, great sound and light show and a goood all-round entertaining frontman. The engine sheds a good venue - in one big hall with no obstructions, a nice high stage, never to overcrowded with a big bar thats pretty easy to get served at and they use 2 pint glasses ! Thanks to dave for playing chauffeur for the nite your absolutely one of the best although there was no need for the hat, haha, great tunes on the way home though. Went to rock city last nite with soph to see The Courteeners and after a long anticipated second album and tour they certainly knew how to turn on the charm and electrify a very lively monday nite crowd, the new songs were great but i'm not so sure about the three solo ballads Liam did towards the end but i soon forgot about them when the rest of the band returned and stormed into not nineteen forever and cavorting, having the a frontman with the name Liam, coming from Manchester, being pretty cool and being a great song writer i really think they can only grow to be a lot bigger - check them out, see you soon jonny

This Friday is the big pre-season BSSO Race test at Mallory Park All teh Front Runners will be there. Myself and Dave Crampton will be there from Grantham completing test and setup of new race scooters. Both Scooters now well over 30HP..... can't wait!

I went to see Twisted Wheel last night with mink, james, soph and diane and WOW what a night, for those that haven't heard of them they supported The Enemy on there uk tour last year and played at the oasis/kasabian stadium gigs, playing upstairs at the intimate Bodega club in notts to a packed 300 people they ripped through a short 70 minute set full of old favourites and a couple of new whipping the crowd into a mental frenzy to such an extent the wooden floor felt as though it was made of elastic and at one point the management asked for the crowd to calm down - as if !! Having been compared by the music press as indie, mod, punk, alternative all i can say is check them out for yourelf just 'rock n roll' man, soon to be playing the rescue rooms notts, see you there.

The official EMSA backed xmas toy run leaves Nottingham Knight pub in Wets Bridgford just off the A52 Notting this Saturday at 11AM Big Phil from Melton SC will be meeting you all there to ride to Loughborogh where food will be available. On return from the toy run there is a FREE bash with food and live bands (we like free)! Toys for young Children or cash donations will be greatly appreciated. This event was unanimously voted for by all in attendance at the EMSA AGM in November and is in respect of Vespa Fred who sadly passed away a year ago. Please show your support for a great day out in aid of a very worthy cause. Kind regards from all the committee

Steve - Thanks, glad you like it. I did an extra page with a red heading as you suggested and email the link to Jonny and Ian. Ian and I are not in favour, not heard Jonnys opinion as yet. I have managed to change the way these messages appear now. The newest is at the top, the oldest is at the bottom.
